News says that Ronaldo has started minor exercises and is believed to be back on the pitch in the beginning of October. However he could only be playing as a starter by November.

I don't know about you guys but thats a really long time. I won't be surprised if Sir Alex brings him in quicker than that..

Like maybe today... He played for about 30 minutes, and actually seemed to add some extra firepower to an already aggressive Man United side.  Villareal were lucky not to concede... Then again, Villereal did hit the inside of the post themselves...

Yeah, but its surprising that ManU are looking so toothless without him. With the likes of Tevez, Rooney,Nani and Hargreaves in the lineup they're still struggling to find even one goal a game !

wow...its a very big news as far as Manchester United are concerned.....but their other players are suffering  from their forms....so it would be a enlightening change for them....

Definitely is big news khassa... With Rooney not scoring goals up front and the midfield also looking weak they are struggling for goals..their only hope to salvage the season is to have Ronaldo back in the lineup before the season slips away.

Ronaldo is back but not with a bang. He could not help united win their match against Villarreal at home. It will be interesting to see how he plays against Chelsea this weekend.

Thats understandable- He didn't come on till the 62nd minute and even then he showed signs of his ability by creating some chances..

I do hope he can start against Chelsea though as its a very big game..

You can't force somebody to be healed.  I'm sure Ronaldo wants to be out there more than anybody else, but the worst thing you can do is come back early.
