Chelsea captain John Terry has been cleared to play against Manchester United on Sunday after his appeal against a red card proved successful.

I'm in two minds about this one as I think the kind of foul that Terry perpetrated should be a red card, but by the laws of the game; it should only be a yellow. So, I guess it's fair enough that he got the card rescinded.

Still don't like the little thug, though.

I'm with you on this jimhaines ... was a definite foul but I didn't think it warranted a red.
Anyway, I hope ManU can beat Chelsea on Sunday- Its such a crucial game now, especially with the start that ManU has had to the season..

Fergie has had his two cents on this one and  got in trouble as usual.

LOL, Fergie will always give you his opinion.  I think that Terry fouled the guy, but I don't think it was worthy of a red card.  As much as I would like him in the bench, I'd rather beat Chelsea with there full squad... hopefully we'll do that on Sunday...

It is good that he can play. The red card was an unfair decision. At the most it should have fetched him a yellow. However his return is good news for chelsea. They need him against man u.

Terry is a classy guy and definitely one of England's finest.  That said nothing can go unpunished, hopefully the FA isn't just playing favorites, but that wouldn't surprise me at all.
