Confused Jol to get shock on Tyneside
In Martin Jol’s latest interview, the under-fire Dutchman let out a startling revelation: “Newcastle aren’t like us”. We couldn’t agree more, Martin – they’re winning games, they are not in the relegation zone and they’re pretty happy with the manager. In fairness, his comment came in response to the notion that both teams are in the pack chasing a European spot, but the North London hopefuls will be very hard pushed to make anything of tonight’s game... In the last three fixtures between the sides, Newcastle have scored three goals. For the past two seasons, the score line at St James’ Park has been 3-1.
