Didn't know where to put this thread, so I've put it here. But the England v Holldna match was rubbish...the Dutch just couldn't be bothered and England...well, Micah Richards did well on his debut.

But putting Andy Johnson on the right and then the left wing. What idiot came up with that plan?

You're dead right monkey, it was a shambles....

England picked Johnson because he has been scoring goals for Everton as a striker, so why the heck didn't he play as a striker for England.

McClaren out, Big Ian Dowie in

LOL.

Why didn't they play him as a striker? No idea. He's the ideal man to be the focal point of an attacking formation. 4-4-1-1 with Rooney behind Johnson - that would have worekd. If England wanted to play a right winger, they should have started with one.

yeah, wright phillips would have been the man, i dont see why every england boss recently would watch a player play week in week out in a position.. then pick him for his merits in that position... then play him somewhere else!!
YOu can almost hear every other wannabe footie pundit shouting IT WONT WORK and lo and behold it doesnt work

Wow, you're talking about a match that took place two years ago, I'm not even sure which one that was...

well if was replayed today i'd expect the dutch to win.  their euro Squad was pretty good, too bad they didn't go as far as they could've.
