Is it just me or is everyone ignoring the fact that Arsenal have an equally good defensive record as Bolton this season?
Everyone seems to be singing the praises of Bolton for only having conceeded 4 goals, but so have Arsenal. Add that to the fact that Arsenal have also got one of the best offensive records and you have quite a strong start to the season. Take nothing away from Bolton though. They have looked a solid side and coming away with anything from the Reebok is a tough proposition for any team. |

No, you're right. Everyone is ignoring Arsenal's defensive record this season because the TV pundits haven't actually noticed yet.
As soon as someone points it out to them, they'll all be mentioning it. That's the way of TV football commentators, presenters and pundits. They're kinda like the witches in Macbeth. Except that they share a brain cell around rather than an eye. And that is the first and almost certainly the last Shakespearean simile to appear on this football forum. |

| Arsenals defence is very good indeed. I think it is mainly the defence that got them to the Champions League final last year and they were unlucky to win it. They were unlucky at the beginning of this season because of all the injuries in their defence. | ||

Hehe, yeah, Man Utd just doubled their goals against.. Now its Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea all with just 5 against.. Impressive.. but boring. Where's the surprise packages, Everton and Villa both had so much promise but its all gone a bit tits up now. I dont know about the rest of you but I don't want to see another Chelsea Man U Arsenal Liverpool top four! .. well.. maybe Arsenal..

| Everton and Villa don't have the squad depth to really compete over a season. Only Spurs and Liverpool outside of Man U, Chelski and Arsenal have a big enough squad to mount a real challenge and they are both doing their best to mess it up. | ||
