Yes, West Ham beat Arsenal (yes, again) enough already. Not to try to detract from the embarrasment of losing.. but it was also brought to my attention that Wenger is probably one of the poorest losers in management. It was incredible watching Wenger go for Pardew after the goal, and its not the first time he's bee so blatantly bad at taking things when they don't go his way. Its awful to watch, almost as embarrasing as a Jose Mourinho press conference... but not quite

Yeah, cant deny what hes done for the game but its not excuse for that. Just as arrogant as henry, must be a french thing.

Can you blame him though, twat Pardew screaming for joy in his face, lucky he didnt get lamped. piss poor result though, would have expected to turn west ham over especially with the way they been playing recently.

Suppose its coz they dropped those Argies to the bench.. 2 wins 0 appearances.. go figure

Um, yes, I can blame him. Wenger is, as DanBodd pointed out, a very sore loser. This was at Upton Park, it's Pardue's ground, he can do what he likes. If he wants to jump up and down to celebrate West Ham's goal, then why the hell shouldn't he.

Wenger's refusal to shake hands and refusal to talk to the press shows that all this 'Professor' stuff is a bit of a sham. He's just as immature as Mourinho. Shame he didn't front up to someone like Neil Warnock like that. He would have been in for a bit of a shock then, wouldn't he.

Wenger couldnt beat himself up, i dont think there isn't a manager in the premiership that would love to smack him in the face.

He's proved he's so very arrogant in not shaking hands. Pardew had every right to celebrate the goal considering the feat he had just achieved.

I for one would like to see someone hit him next time he thinks he is billy big potatoes, then we would see how arrogant he is

so whos the toughest prem boss then, gotta be fergie, big scot, always gonna win

The toughest? Well, David Moyes at Everton and Stuart Pearce at City could arm wrestle for that one.

Premier League manager I would least like to meet in a dark alley ? Iain Dowie....Frankenstein's revenge. Ugh.

I don't think Wenger like this.....His strength lies in his hardwork, how he hikes up the team...no matter how the team is playing at present...but soon Arsenal would be at the top....

No chance of the Gooners winning anything this season - they just don't have the numbers. Mind you, Spurs have the numbers and they don't have a chance to win any either. So what do I know.

Well, when it gets to february and march and injuries start piling up, numbers come in handy, so you might be right.  Arsenal were crippled by injuries last season...

Arsenal are not going anywhere this season. It is not completely Wenger's fault. With such a team they are bound to lose matches which should be theirs.

Wenger's done great things with Arsenal, but is response is typical for a Frenchman

Arsene Wenger is going to have it hard this season. He doesn't have the team that he used to have when the likes of Pires and Henry were in the squad..considering that they are doing reasonably well. He really needs some silverware this season for some redemption..

You know I never understood why Henry left.  If it was Arsenal who made that decision, they're idiots.  Can anybody give me the story?
Posted:  22 Sep 2008 16:55
Well from what I read Henry WANTED to move to Barcelona. They already had a verbal agreement before the negotiations started. Perhaps a bit of tension between Wenger and Henry as well..

I don't think Wenger is an idiot for selling Henry. Henry had hit his peak and could give no more...he's hardly been on fire at Barca has he? Good bit of business if you ask me.

Right, but a forward's success is based, at least parly, on teammates and coaching.  But if Henry wanted to leave that's different, you can't hold onto a guy who doesn't want to be there.  Tough luck for Barca, but that's kinda what happens to teams who do more buying than developing players.
