As of right now, the Premiership hasn't really got going. Arsenal and Man Utd look good, for sure, but there hasn't been any really classic games yet and, to be honest, it's all looking a bit lame.

My opinion is that there are some top class managers in the Championship who will get more out of their teams than they are worth...thus creating an exciting league.

The likes of Dave Jones at Cardiff, Mick McCarthy at Wolves, Mike Newell at Luton plus the teams with the cash - Sunderland, Birmingham and West Brom. Between the quality managers and the teams with some money, I think the Championship is where the real competition is this season.

True, while you don't get the glamour of the big names or European ties, there is still some quality football to be seen, not to mention a Mick McCarthy interview, those are never to be missed.

Also you dont have to fork out £60 if you want to go see you team play. Then again, if your local team is Gillingham I still wouldn't bother...

No, nor would I.

But The Championship (I hate using that phrase...it's division 2...let's be honest) is looking intriguing.

I reckon it will be Cardiff, West Brom and possibly Wolves going up this season.

Well the Premiership is getting interesting now.. Arsenal have done a good job to stop Reading's run but the Man Utd v Liverpool game was a bit boring. Man Utd v Bolton was a exciting game, the top clubs are starting to show of their real potential now.

That's true - I think there will be a real title race this season. No prizes for guesing who i think will win it, but it should be interesting.

The Championship is rubbish football with good managers (like Wolves) or good football with rubbish managers (like Palace).

The Premiership is looking better than The Championship, sorry. Big players, extraordinary matches, you can't top that.

Yeah, agreed, Oigen. This year's Premiership is shaping up very nicely. Even as a Spurs fan, it's looking like there should be some twists and turns before the end of the season.

Though the championships are getting interesting, nothing can displace the premier league. The quality of football played is unmatched and is way better than the quality of football played in the championships.

The best players and teams don't always play the most attractive games.  As long as the teams are playing well and with passion, it doesn't really matter what league it is, the games will be great.
