Is it just me or does this tournament not mean a darn thing?  Congrats AC Milan, you beat... Pachuca?  Wow, awesome!!

Um..when was this on? And who the hell are Pachuca. I remember when Man United entered the tournament a few years back and were roundly and righly humiliated.

This event is not a big deal at all.The so called club 'WORLD CUP' does not even have proper television coverage. The whole event is just a waste of time and nothing more.

jimhaines, Pachuca were the CONCACAF reps.  I think is played in November or something like that, the FIFA website will say.

sai_sidd, I tend to agree with you, although see AC play Boca Juniors was kind of interesting... wasn't it in Japan too?

Its just another of the tournaments that don't carry all too much value. Its probably just an initiative to boost the morale of dying leagues and clubs...may not be all that much for the big leagues but it matters for the little leagues around the world to allow them to compete with the best..

To me the whole thing is just kinda weird.  6 teams meet in a random country for two weeks and play, the UEFA team goes straight to the semi-final.  The only interesting thing is that top teams from different continents get to play... ok I'm really just talking about Europe and S. America, but it's kinda cool to see some African team you've never seen before taking on some Asain team you've never even heard of.  If anything, you can always change the channel.
