While Neil thinks Alan Pardue might be forced out soon (Link Here ), my money is on Iain Dowie to be the first Premiership manager to get the boot.

He's let players go that could do a good job for Charlton and brought in dodgy replacements like Traore and Andy 'Chubster' Reid. Too many changes, too quick, bad results. He's on his way out.

True, but you must also consider that West Ham are getting the worst press at the moment while Dowie seems to have managed to avoid the worst of the press.
Considering the pre-season expectations for West Ham and Charlton respectively, I think the Hammers have been underperforming considerably more than Charlton, though the boards of both are no doubt already lining up potential candidates 'just in case'.
Either way, I bet Simon Jordan is laughing his tits off...

Yup, he's probably got his fake tan topped up to celebrate the imminent demise of Dowie.

The other manager on dodgy ground is Glenn Roeder. Newcastle have spent big yet again and even more yet-ter again-est they are failing to perform.

Roeder just doesn't look or act like a football manager. In fact, he reminds me of the deputy headmaster of my primary school. He seems weak and footballers need to be managed by someone who can shout at them without coming across like a twat. I don't think Roeder can do that.

He isn't even qualified is he?

You have to ask yourself what the board of such a high profile club are thinking when they hand over control of tens of millions of pounds worth of players to someone who has no experience at the top level or even qualification in coaching.

Well, he is a qualified coach (just hasn't got his FIFA Pro License because of his brain tumour thing) and did manage West Ham. They got relegated. I rest your case

Well West Ham was doing well until the signings of Teves and Maschareno. They didn't need these two huge signings to boost the club performance because it has only made them worse. But yes it is also down to the manager as well, I think that Roeder will be the first to get the sack.

Todays draw with Charlton certainly didn't help. Roeder is out of his depth. So is Iain Dowie, so it's between those two, I think.

Though if they could sack both of them and Stuart Pearce at the same time that would be a right result.

So who do you think would make good replacements at those teams? Do you think Sven could do a good job at Premiership level? or what about some of the managers from the Championship?

They should all be sacked!  Well I don't know about that, but I once heard a great quote, something like... "every manager is either about to get fired or is looking for their next job."

It is time for Charlton to look for a new manager.Another sacking which i felt had to happen has happened. Grant deserved to get the boot.Scolari is an awesome replacement for a guy like Grant.
