New Portsmouth manager Avram Grant will be without his first choice goalkeeper, David James, as he faces Manchester United in his first match in charge of the club.
James is still sidelined with a calf injury, so Jamie Ashdown will deputise for the second match in a row.
Back from injury, however, are forward John Utaka, who has overcome a thigh strain, and left back Steve Finnan, who has missed a number of weeks with a groin injury.
Utaka may start in place of Frederic Piquionne upfront alongside Arune Dindane. Veteran striker Kanu is set for a place on the bench for the home side.
Steve Finnan and Hermann Hreidarsson will battle it out for the starting left-back position.
For Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, continuing injuries to Rio Ferdinand, Johnny Evans and John O’Shea mean that Wes Brown will partner Nemanja Vidic in the heart of the United defence.
Dimitar Berbatov will return to the starting line-up to partner Wayne Rooney in attack after finally shaking off a niggling injury.
Patrice Evra and Darren Fletcher both return after being rested for United’s midweek Champions League match, as does goalkeeper Edwin van Der Sar.

OK, I’m not really going to stick my neck out this week as most of the weekend’s matches are uninspiring to say the least, but here are my top football betting tips for November 21st and 22nd’s football.
Birmingham City vs Fulham : 15:00 GMT Sat Nov 21st
Birmingham have looked fairly solid, or should that be, drab this season. They are hard to break down but have only recently been showing any signs of attacking flair.
By contrast Fulham have been going about their business with quiet efficiency and are a team that likes to play football, but they don’t concede many either. Roy Hodgson’s men are five games unbeaten and I don’t see that run ending at Birmingham’s hands.

Mark Hughes’ Manchester City have not been very impressive on their travels so far this season with draws against Wigan and Aston Villa and that loss to Manchester United in their last three.
For a team that aspires to the top four this season, that really isn’t good enough.
The question is : can they put this right today against Alex McLeish’s Birmingham City side.
Up until their last match, Birmingham have played very defensive minded formations both home and away, much to the annoyance of their fans.
A more expansive formation against Sunderland saw them win 2-1 and this is the formation I would expect them to stick with against Manchester City.
BIRMINGHAM vs MANCHESTER CITY BETTING TIPS
At home, Birmingham City don’t concede very many goals (just 4 in their last five matches); while Manchester City don’t seem to score many away.
While City clearly have the better offensive options, there is a surprising defensive fragility that Birmingham will be looking to exploit.
Birmingham’s result against Sunderland indicates they can keep it tight at the back even when playing more attacking football. After all, they kept the on-fire partnership of Darren Bent and Kenwyne Jones quiet, so I would suggest this match will be a low scoring draw.

In East Lancashire, this is the biggest match of the season. Apart from, of course, the return match in Burnley. As derbies go, this one is more ferocious and competitive than most. Put simply, the fans of Blackburn Rovers and the fans of Burnley hate each other.
Combine that with the fact that the two sides haven’t met in years and you have a potential exciting, combative derby match.

Ukraine vs England Betting Tips

With England already qualified for the 2010 World Cup, it’s hard to know how either the manager or the team are going to approach this match with Ukraine.
Despite all Wayne Rooney’s talk of wanting to win all their qualifying games, Capello may look to experiment in the second half of the match, thus reducing England’s effectiveness.
For the Ukraine, this is pretty much a must win match. They are behind Croatia in the Group and so must get a result if they are to get into the play-offs.
Unfortunately, Ukraine coach Alexei Mikhailichenko is without three key defenders (Chygrynskiy, Rusol and Manziuk) which will leave his backline vunerable to the power of Heskey and the pace and skill of Lennon, Gerrard and Rooney.
The Ukraine do have some good players, but they’re not really as strong as the squad that qualified for the last World Cup Finals. Despite his trials at Chelsea, Andriy Shevchenko does still have the knack of scoring at international level and, in fact, scored when last these two teams met.
What is certain is that Ukraine will be the more motivated of the two sides and, if they win this, they will go to second in the group.
However, they are lacking real quality at the back and will be forced to attack in order to win the match. I suspect that this will end up a draw as Ukraine should come back into the match in the second half when Capello starts making the substitutions.

Burnley vs Everton Betting Tips

Well, Burnley beat Manchester United in midweek and no one saw that coming (except Matt Le Tissier), while Everton got spanked by Arsenal 6-1, so clearly it’s going to be a Burnley victory here.
What am I saying? Look, the simple fact is that Everton are a good side; a side that consistently reaches the top six of the Premiership. Burnley came up via the play offs.
They just don’t have the quality that Everton do and there is simply no way that David Moyes won’t have his side up for this match.
They won a fair number of away games last season and I can’t see this being any different. Take Everton to win this one.
