Crazy Transfer Rumours This Week

The transfer window has only shut for a week, but still there are endless and increasingly unlikely transfer rumours doing the rounds.
How about this from The People: Juventus apparently want to sign Spurs left back Gareth Bale. And they are prepared to pay up to £13million for the player. Yeah, that’s what I thought, too!
The News of the World think they will also bid £8m for Martin Skrtel, currently at Liverpool, but that has more the ring of truth about it.
Elsewhere, it looks like Roberto Mancini will let Stephen Ireland leave Manchester City this summer with the midfielder moving to Manchester United. At least, if you believe the Mail on Sunday, that is.
