Wolverhampton Wanderers duo Jody Craddock and Dave Edwards have signed new deals, extending their contracts with the West Midlands club.
Midfielder Edwards has signed a three year extension to his deal, while veteran defender Craddock, 33, has put pen to paper on an additional 12 month deal.
Edwards, quoted on the official Wolverhampton Wanderers website, pronounced himself “delighted to sign a new contract”, adding :
“Signing a contract to go into the Premier League is something I have to pinch myself about if I look back over the last three or four years.
“I’m certainly not taking anything for granted though, and feel very privileged to be in the position I’m in.”
Craddock was more sanguine about his prospects for next season, saying :
“I don’t know what’s going to happen next season but I’m just happy to be here and fighting for a place.
“I know it’s going to be tough for me again and I know there will be new defenders brought to the club but it’s never been any different.
“It’s the Premier League and it’s a difficult challenge but I know what I’m signing up for.”
