City Make Huge Offer For Eto’o

Barcelona chairman Joan LaPorta has confirmed that Manchester City have made what he describes as a ’stratospheric’ offer for striker Samuel Eto’o.
28 year old Eto’o’s deal with the Spanish side expires in 12 months and the club have made it clear that they would let the player leave for the right offer, despite the Cameroon forward notching up 36 goals for Barca last term.
Laporta is quoted as saying :
“Eto’o has a stratospheric offer from City, which would convert him into the best paid player in the world. It’s starting to become clear that he has this monster offer.”
“He wants to stay but an offer like this is very difficult to refuse.”
“If Eto’o accepts this stratospheric offer we will have to bring in someone.”
