More Premiership Transfer Rumours

Those nice people at The Daily Mail are reporting that Man City have agreed to pay £18m to sign Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn Rovers. Hope so. I’m so bored of this story.

The Mail also say that both Spurs and Arsenal are interested in Newcastle Utd’s Sebastien Bassong, but the North East club want £10million for him. I’m sure they do, but they’ll probably be willing to take a tenner and four shiny pebbles.

Elsewhere, West Ham’s Gianfranco Zola is interested in taking a couple of Inter’s young players on loan - namely striker Mario Balotelli and midfielder Luis Jimenez. There’s some actual quotes from Zola about Jimenez so this one looks possible.
