Christian Benitez Breaks Birmingham Transfer Record

23 year old Ecuador striker Christian Benitez has moved to Birmingham City for a club record fee believed to be around £9million.
The transfer is conditional on the player passing a medical and receiving a work permit, but it looks like City have achieved something of a coup as Benitez had interested from a number of top European clubs.
The player has scored 31 goals in 58 games in Mexico’s top division over the last two seasons.
