It happens every six months like clockwork…so here is this winter’s Stewart Downing to leave Middlesbrough transfer rumour.

Now valued at around £11million, it has been suggested that Tottenham’s Harry Redknapp and Manchester City are battling it out to sign the left sided midfielder in January.

Personally, I’m looking forward to writing the same thing in July.
