Fernando Torres is out for Liverpool with a recurrence of his hamstring injury, while West Ham are likely to start with the same starting eleven that won last time out.

Also sidelined for Rafa Benitez’ side is defender Fabio Aurelio, who has a calf strain. Aurelio is likely to be replaced by Andrea Dossena.

Back in contention for Liverpool is midfielder Lucas and Israeli international Yossi Benayoun.

Ex-Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy will lead the line for West Ham United, possibly in tandem with Carlton Cole.
